What's the Push and Pull of it all?
NetBlazon has created the FeedExact service as a way to better control, analyze and optimize feeds to CSEs. In our experience as storeowners, we found that generating and re-generating feeds based inventory changes was a headache of epic proportions. We decided to create a solution that would allow storeowners to have their product data "pulled" from their stores and subsequently "pushed" out to the various CSEs that we support.
An example: Our educational toy store, wonderbrains.com, goes through a lot of inventory and we sell our products online with Amazon.com, so we were constantly running into problems with inventory counts being skewed. But now, with FeedExact.com, we can setup different data push feeds to Amazon. So, once a week we send them a full feed and then we send out inventory updates twice a day. It's all automatic with FeedExact. The system requests a new data feed from the store in the background and pushes the data out to Amazon, keeping both stores generally in sync.
